Something to Ponder

What does our Heavenly Father have to say in His world regarding orphans?
"You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book before one of them came to be." --Psalm 139:16

"I will not leave you as orphans, I will come to you." --John 14:18

"But you, O God, do see trouble and grief; You consider it to take it in hand. The victim commits himself to You; You are the helper of the fatherless." --Psalm 10:14

"Pure and undefiled religion before God the Father is this, to care for orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world." --James 1:27

"He executed justice for the orphan and widow, and shows His love for the alien by giving him food and clothing." --Deuteronomy 10:18

"When you reap your harvest in your field and have forgotten a sheaf in the field, you shall not go back to get it; it shall be for the alien, for the orphan, and for the widow, in order that the Lord your God may bless you in all the workd of your hands." --Deuteronomy 24:19

"O Lord, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will strengthen their heart, You will incline Your ear, to vindicate the orphan and the oppressed, so that man who is of the earth will no longer cause terror." --Psalm 10:17-18

"Learn to do good; seek justice, reprove the ruthless, defend the orphan, plead for the widow." --Isaiah 1:17

"Vindicate the weak and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicated and destitute." --Psalm 82:3

"I know the Lord secures justice for the poor and upholds the cause of the needy." --Psalm 140:12
And so on, and so on. Need I say more?
There's more where that came from.
